In this index, you’ll find a comprehensive list of sources for all direct quotes as well as credits for all the images featured in our online exhibition. If you wish to explore a topic further, this index serves as an ideal launching point.

The entries are first broken down by chapter. Within a chapter section, you will find the quotes listed in the order they appear, followed by the image credits, also in their order of the images’ appearance.
